The Age of Creation
In a time before mortals even existed, a combined pantheon of deities rose and created the World of Versania on the prime material plane. Before anything, the god's beseeched the lords of the elemental planes for raw materials with with they could construct the world itself.
Forging and shaping a stable world from this raw firmament, each group of gods created a race of mortals that they would care for and would come to worship them. it is during this time that the gods would stride amongst their races as living avatars of their divine nature.
