Ironhaven
Ironhaven, the Grand Capital of the Empire, was formed after the end of the last Age of Pride when the fledgling Empire had finally suppressed the might of the fearsome dragons and their evil plans. It is a city built with defense from these foes in mind, with great ironclad walls of stone towering around 40 feet high in concentric rings around the core - the Imperial Citadel. These walls are spaced with defensive towers mounted with baliista built so that they can target both the air and the ground.
For all these imposing walls and towers, the majority of the city is built the light stone of the surrounding areas, putting an odd contrast between the gleaming iron of the walls and the bright stone of the civilian constructs.
